The new book that I have been currently reading is Mocking Jay by Suzanne Collins. This is the third book in the Hunger Games series. The main character is named Katniss Everdeen. From past knowledge of the other books, she has just been rescued by the rebel district 13 and is now with them. She begins the story telling how everything has gone downhill and how the Capitol has destroyed her district. She describes how everything seems lost. From the previous books, I can predict that the book will end up in the total revolt of the districts upon the capitol. Hopefully I will enjoy this book as much as I did while reading the others in the series.
The book that I have been currently reading is Eragon by Christopher Paolini. This book is starting to interest me more and I have been enjoying it so far. Eragon still has the strange stone but the stone turned out to be an egg which carried a dragon. Just from foreshadowing, readers can see that the book's adventure will come through dragons. Eragon has been raising the dragon though is secret so people won't find out. Even though this style of book isn't my favorite, I am enjoying it more than I would have thought. The book has much description in the narrative and so far not as much talking between the characters.
Eragon is a very interesting book to read. The book is a fantasy based story. The main character is named Eragon and he lives with his uncle. The winter season will be coming soon so Eragon go's hunting but he comes across s strange stone that looks like it might be worth something. He tries selling it for meat but finds it a struggle with the butcher. A friend comes in though and covers Eragon for the meat and he says Eragon will pay it off by working for him. Eragon goes home and tell his father of the butcher and the stone. His father would also like to find out what it is worth. So far, this book has been capturing and enjoyable to read and I think it will be worthwhile to finish.
